The study of the incidence of a new coronavirus infection of medical workers and the development of measures to protect them is an urgent task.</p> <p xml:lang="en-US"><bold>AIMS</bold>: Study of epidemiological risks and features of the incidence of COVID-19 in medical organizations for the development of proposals for the adjustment of preventive and anti-epidemic measures in the context of a new wave of coronavirus infection.</p> <p xml:lang="en-US"><bold>MATERIALS AND METHODS</bold>: We examined reporting forms “an overview of cases with positive COVID-19” (138 items), “an overview of cases of community-acquired pneumonia with positive COVID-19” (138 units), the card of epidemiological investigation of the disease COVID-19 health workers (386 units of information), copies of “Acts of epidemiological investigation of infectious (parasitic) diseases, establishing causal relationships” (47 units of information), copies of extraordinary reports about the emergency situation of sanitary-and-epidemiologic nature (47 items).</p> <p xml:lang="en-US"><bold>RESULTS</bold>: The incidence of COVID-19 among healthcare workers (40.1‰) correlated with the same indicator in the adult population and was 2.6 times higher. The incidence of pneumonia and COVID-19 deaths in health care workers and adults did not differ. The complete set of personal protective equipment was observed in contact with the sick from 100.0 to 62.5% in various departments. More than half of the affected employees had a source of infection in the immediate environment, in 63.2% of cases it was colleagues. The most likely places of infection were places of work (66.8%) and places of residence (30.3%).</p> <p xml:lang="en-US"><bold>CONCLUSIONS</bold>: The epidemic process of coronavirus infection among employees of medical organizations correlated with the incidence of adult population had a higher incidence rate than among them, without differing in severity and outcomes of COVID-19. The prevalence of morbidity in medical organizations was the predominance among the affected employees of medical organizations. Conditions that contribute to infection were various violations of preventive and anti-epidemic measures, including the use of personal protective equipment.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold>Обоснование</bold>. Медицинские работники, выступившие в авангарде сил, противодействующих пандемии COVID-19, стали одной из основных групп риска инфицирования SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome-related coronavirus 2). Изучение заболеваемости новой коронавирусной инфекцией среди работников медицинских организаций и разработка мероприятий по их защите являются актуальной задачей.</p> <p><bold>Цель исследования</bold> ― изучение эпидемиологических рисков и особенностей заболеваемости COVID-19 среди работников медицинских организаций для выработки предложений по корректировке профилактических и противоэпидемических мероприятий в условиях новой волны коронавирусной инфекции.</p> <p><bold>Материал и методы</bold>. Проанализированы данные отчётных форм «Общие сведения о заболевших с положительным COVID-19» (138 единиц информации), «Общие сведения о заболевших внебольничными пневмониями с положительным COVID-19» (138 единиц информации), карты эпидемиологического расследования заболевания COVID-19 у медицинских работников (386 единиц информации), копии актов эпидемиологического расследования очагов инфекционных (паразитарных) болезней с установлением причинно-следственной связи (47 единиц информации), копии внеочередных донесений о чрезвычайной ситуации санитарно-эпидемиологического характера (47 единиц информации). В работе использованы эпидемиологический и статистический методы исследования.</p> <p><bold>Результаты</bold>. Заболеваемость COVID-19 работников медицинских организаций составляла 40,1±0,9‰ и коррелировала с показателем заболеваемости взрослого населения, превышая его в 2,6 раза. Частота пневмоний и летальных исходов при COVID-19 у работников медицинских организаций и взрослого населения не имели достоверных различий. Наиболее высокие показатели заболеваемости регистрировали среди младших медицинских работников многопрофильных больниц, фельдшеров и медицинских сестёр скорой медицинской помощи, врачей амбулаторно-поликлинических учреждений. Полный комплект средств индивидуальной защиты при контакте с заболевшими использовали от 62,5 до 100,0% сотрудников различных подразделений медицинских организаций. Более половины пострадавших сотрудников имели источник инфекции в ближайшем окружении ― в 63,2% это были коллеги по работе. Вероятной территорией инфицирования были место работы (66,8%) или место жительства (30,3%).</p> <p><bold>Заключение</bold>. Заболеваемость новой коронавирусной инфекцией работников медицинских организаций коррелировала с заболеваемостью взрослого населения, однако имела больший, чем среди них, показатель, не отличаясь по тяжести и исходам COVID-19.
