The review presents data of domestic and foreign literature on the antibiotic resistance of Vibrio cholerae and the prospects for the treatment of cholera in the modern period.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Распространение штаммов V. cholerae, обладающих множественной антибиотикорезистентностью, ограничивает выбор эффективных средств этиотропной терапии холеры, подчеркивая важность поиска способов, обеспечивающих эффективность в условиях широкой распространенности антибиотикоустойчивых бактерий.
