Whitmore in 1912 up to now. The particular attention has been attracted to the modern conception of epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment of the disease and also ecology of its agent (Burkholderia pseudomallei). The nearest perspectives on organizational, methodical and scientific developments on prophylaxis and treatment of this particularly dangerous infectious diseases are suggested.</p>
Высказаны предположения о ближайших перспективах организационно-методических и научных разработок по профилактике и лечению особо опасной инфекции.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Burkholderia pseudomallei</kwd><kwd>melioidosis</kwd><kwd>Burkholderia pseudomallei</kwd><kwd>epidemiology</kwd><kwd>ecology</kwd><kwd>chemotherapy</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>мелиоидоз</kwd><kwd>эпидемиология</kwd><kwd>экология</kwd><kwd>химиотерапия</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Антонов В.А., Илюхин В.И.
